Our chatbot Volt is an AI assistant powered by OpenAI GPT. When you interact with Volt through Facebook Messenger:
Your messages are processed by OpenAI to generate responses
Conversation content, including any personal information you share, is sent to OpenAI for response generation
Volt may transfer your conversation to a human staff member when appropriate
Volt will disclose that it is an AI assistant when directly asked
We share your information with the following third parties:
Meta/Facebook — for Messenger message delivery and platform functionality
OpenAI — for AI-powered chatbot response generation (conversation content is processed by OpenAI)
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Chatbot conversation logs are stored in memory and automatically expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. If you provide your contact information (name, email, phone) for a sales inquiry, this data is stored in our database until you request its deletion.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing nelectricmotors@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
We also honor Facebook's Data Deletion Callback. When you remove our app or request data deletion through Facebook, we automatically delete your associated data.
